I was raised on the Central Coast, but my family has lived in Castro Valley since the early 1970s. I have over a decade of experience leading a multipurpose special district and supporting a small fire department facing both urban and wildland challenges. 

I have a certificate in Special District Governance from the California Special Districts Association. I volunteer with the nonprofit Lions Club supporting their free eye screening program. I am excited to apply my knowledge to support the Fairview Fire Protection District, and I look forward to serving the community
